Your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud account. We run no servers.
We cannot read, access, or recover your data. Ever.
No ads. No analytics. No tracking. No third-party SDKs.
Sharing with a caregiver happens only when you explicitly invite them, directly through your iCloud account.
Delete the app and your iCloud data, and everything is gone.
What the app stores, and where
MyBlueBerry stores the entries you log — feeds (bottle and nursing), diapers, and sleep sessions — plus a profile for each child you track (a name if you choose to give one, an approximate age, and feeding preferences such as oz vs ml).
This data is stored in two places, both under your control:
On your device, in the app's local database.
In your private iCloud database (Apple's CloudKit), tied to your Apple Account. This is what syncs your data across your own devices and backs it up.
We — the developer — operate no servers and have no technical ability to access your private iCloud database. Apple's iCloud infrastructure handles storage and sync; Apple's own privacy policy governs iCloud itself.
What we don't do
We do not collect analytics or usage data.
We do not show ads or work with ad networks.
We do not use any third-party SDKs that collect data.
We do not sell, share, or monetize data — we never possess it in the first place.
We do not track you across apps or websites.
Sign in with Apple
The app uses Sign in with Apple as its only sign-in method. When you sign in, Apple provides the app with an anonymous, app-specific user identifier. This identifier stays on your device and within your own iCloud data — it is never transmitted to us, because there is nowhere to transmit it to. We never see your email address, name, or Apple Account details.
Sharing with a partner or caregiver
If you choose to invite a partner or caregiver (via QR code or a short one-time code), the app uses Apple's CloudKit sharing to give that person's iCloud account access to your child's data. This sharing:
happens only when you explicitly create an invite,
is direct between your iCloud account and theirs — it never passes through us,
can be revoked by you at any time.
Children's privacy
MyBlueBerry is made for parents and caregivers — adults. Information about your child is entered by you, belongs to you, and stays in your iCloud account as described above. We do not collect any information from or about children (or anyone else).
Deleting your data
Individual entries can be edited inside the app. The current version does not yet offer a way to delete a single entry — removing data means removing everything, as described below.
Everything: delete the app, then remove the app's iCloud data on your device under Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → MyBlueBerry → Delete Data. Caution: this permanently erases your child's entire history — every feed, diaper, and sleep record. We hold no copy and cannot restore it. You can also revoke Sign in with Apple under Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple.
Because we hold no copies, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and its effective date before that version ships. The policy will always be available at the same URL as this page.
